Steven St. Peter, M.D.Dr. Steven St. Peter joined MPM with experience from Apax Partners and The Carlyle Group, where his investment scope included both venture and buyout transactions across medical technology and pharmaceuticals. He began working at MPM in 2003 and was promoted to General Partner in 2005. Dr. St. Peter is board certified in internal medicine and was previously an assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Columbia University. He completed his Doctor of Medicine at Washington University and his residency and fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to his medical training, he was an investment banker at Merrill Lynch. He also holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in Chemistry from the University of Kansas. He is a Director of EKR Therapeutics, Helicos (NASDAQ: HLCS), Omrix (NASDAQ: OMRI), PharmAthene (ASE: PIP), Syndax, Xanodyne, and the New England Venture Capital Association, and previously served on the boards of Atugen and IDEA. |
