Koji Shinozaki Principal
Koji Shinozaki joined MPM Capital in June 2009 from Solasia Pharma K.K., a BV4 company based in Tokyo that he helped found in 2006. As VP of Corporate Development at Solasia, Mr. Shinozaki was instrumental in forming a strategic alliance with Kyowa Hakko Kirin. Prior to founding Solasia, Mr. Shinozaki was a member of Itochu Corporation's Life Science team where he led nine new investments in the U.S. and Japan totaling over $50 million and helped build a strong working relationship with MPM Capital. Mr. Shinozaki holds a bachelor's degree in Policy of Management from Keio University.
