Dana K. O'Brien, JD Director of Operations and Legal Affairs
Dana K. O'Brien joined MPM in September 2008 from Proskauer Rose LLP where she was an associate in the Corporate Department and a member of the Private Investment Funds Group. At Proskauer, Ms. O'Brien had a general corporate practice with a particular emphasis on representing private equity funds and managers in capital formation, regulatory compliance and operational issues. Ms. O'Brien also regularly represented institutional investors, venture capital funds, private equity funds and fund-of-funds in their portfolio investments, including investments in U.S. and non-U.S. private equity funds and secondary transactions. In addition, Ms. O'Brien advised clients in relation to internal general partner dynamics and management company issues. Ms. O'Brien earned her B.A. in History from The College of the Holy Cross and her J.D. from The University of Connecticut School of Law.
